General Information About Dubai, the Center of Luxury and Splendor

Dubai, the center of luxury and splendor, is located on the Arabian Peninsula and is one of the 7 United Arab Emirates. Dubai, which was a tiny port town and fisherman in the 1900s, is one of the trade and tourism regions of the Middle East and offers you the chance to see many luxury cars in the city. Located in the middle of the desert, you can enjoy the long beaches in one part of the country while you can enjoy a desert safari in the other part. Since the season closes after May due to the extreme heat, it makes more sense to visit Dubai before the summer heat arrives. Like many tourists, you can come to visit this country and enjoy the magnificent shopping centers, buildings with interesting architecture, entertainment centers, and avenues.

Dubai attracts attention with many interesting features. For example, in the 1900s there were a total of 13 cars in Dubai, whereas now cars cannot fit on the nine-lane roads. Also, Dubai is normally considered the capital of the United Arab Emirates, but you may know it as Abu Dhabi. The native language of the people living in Dubai is Arabic, but when you go there, you see that everyone speaks English. Also, you have to consider this city as the city of the best. For example, Dubai Mall, the biggest shopping center with 1200 stores, the biggest aquarium, the tallest hotel called Burj Al Arab, the tallest building called Burj Khalifa, or the biggest gold chain. In fact, you will come across a lot of gold ATMs in the city. In one of the shopping malls, you can even see a ski resort. In addition, there are more Indians and Pakistanis living in the city than locals. In addition, there is no income tax, so you can come here from all over the world to work and save. Last but not least, this city also provides a lot of opportunities for young people in terms of education (like sending almost all students to Europe for study).

When you are a traveler staying in Dubai, it is enough to stay 4-5 days. In these 4-5 days, you can do activities such as watching the city view from Burj Khalifa, swimming and taking photos against Burj Al Arab, watching a water show with Indian songs at Dubai Mall, skydiving with the view of Palm Island, eating by the water in Souk Medinat Jumeriah, going to nice restaurants or small palace shopping malls.

Since Dubai is still in the process of cultural restructuring, it does not have a well-established cuisine. Nevertheless, it offers you different alternatives in terms of eating and drinking. When you visit Dubai, you see that the city does not have its own special dishes. You can choose from Chinese, Mexican, Japanese, Italian, Arabic, and Turkish cuisines. Manousheh, khanfaroosh, knafeh, luqaimat, al machboos, mandi, and camel meat are some of the traditional flavors you can eat in Dubai. You can think of manousheh as Dubai pizza, khanfaroosh as cookies, knafeh as kunafeh, luqaimat as donuts consumed during Ramadan, al machboos as a dish close to Turkish food, mandi as a dish close to Yemeni food, and camel meat as a dish consumed during special celebrations.

If you want to stay in Dubai and you are not looking for a luxury hotel or if you are interested in history, you can choose hotels in the Bur Dubai area. Here you can visit the Dubai Museum and get interesting information. If you are looking for a luxury holiday, you can take a look at the center of Dubai, Burj Khalifa, and its surroundings. Dubai Mall is also located in this area. Apart from these, Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah are good places to stay if you are looking for fun. There are many venues and activities in these areas. Jumeirah is famous for its beaches and is very popular for accommodation. Last but not least, Deira is a place with affordable facilities. Those staying in this area can also easily access the Goldsmiths bazaars and spice shops.
