Kalkan Public Beach

Patara Beach

This beach is known as one of the most beautiful beaches not only in our country but in the whole World. Gelemiş Village, located in Kaş county, is the home of Patara Beach. It is approximately 18 km long and had its name from Patara Ancient City. It offers a unique vacation experience with its fine sandy beach and clean sea. Finike Gökliman Beach

This cove is separated from Andrea Dorya Cove with a peninsula and was used as a port in ancient periods. There is a small and cute cove named Mendikli in Gökliman. It is especially ideal for the ones who love calm environment. Its coast consists of pebbles and beach is pretty distinguished. Which Characteristics Do Blue Flag Beaches Have?

Blue flag award is given by an environmentalist volunteer non-profit organization. The beaches must have some characteristics to get this award. The purpose of blue flag is to support sustainable development in swimming areas. Subjects such as swimming water quality, environmental management, environmental education, and life safety are amongst the criteria for blue flag award. There are 519 blue flag beaches in our country according to the latest data. Our country is in the 3rd place in terms of blue flag beach number throughout the world. Antalya is in the first place with its 213 beaches, 5 marinas with blue flag, and Muğla is the second city with 106 beaches and 7 marinas, and İzmir is in the 3rd place with its 66 beaches and 3 marinas with blue flag award.
