Alanya International Children Festival, organizing different dates yearly, aims to change the world with children’s smiles. Since Alanya International Children’s Festival is a helpful and universal program where children can be aware while having a good time with their parents and peers and given to them by Mayor Âdem Murat Yücel. And it starts. 

The target groups of the festivals are children, parents, and teachers. During the festival, they can read chapter and child development books at the children’s book fair. In addition, children’s theatre, meetings, and interviewing with the writers of the chapter books, workshops, school group performances, education programs giving awareness to the teachers and parents, and seminars are activities taking place at the festival.

You can see that joining the festival and activities which is the one and only children’s festival in Turkey is totally free. You may consider the festival category is like culture, art, and children. Alanya International Children's Festival on Monday, 23 April 2018, 2nd Alanya International Children's Festival on Monday, 15 April 2019, 3rd Alanya International Children's Festival on Friday, 9 July 2021 (due to the pandemic), 4th Alanya International Children's Festival on Saturday, 7 May 2022 in Alanya, are organized by the Alanya Municipality. The 5th Alanya International Children's Festival is planned to be started Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Precious academics, writers, experts, and students participate in the 4th Alanya International Children's Festival, which continues until May 15, 2022. Various stage performances and plays are performed during the festival. The festival organized in Alanya Cultural Center opens many libraries stands and encourages children to gain a love of books and the habit of reading. Alanya Municipality Libraries also open stands and organize different activities that will instill a love of books among students at the festival, where there are dozens of different bookstores.  In addition to these, important academicians and writers who have been guests of these festivals before, Dr. Serkan Karaismailoğlu, Ali Koç, Assoc. Dr. Saniye Bencik Kangal, Tuğba Coşkuner, Ömür Kurt, Mustafa Uslu, Orhan Toker or Assoc. Dr. Like Serdar Bulut, this year Filiz Yıldırım, Merve Gülcemal and Funda Uççuk Er will be guests at the 4th festival. Children have fun with stage performances and theatre at the end of the festival. They have watched many theaters plays such as Dear Eye of My Heart or Rain Stone, prepared by Alanya Municipality Theater Children's Group. 

This festival begins at the İskele Square Waterfall Yard and continues with a rich program that lasts until July 18, 2022. Within the scope of the festival, there are children's events, children's book fairs, interviews, meeting with children's book authors, puppet performances, children's theaters, stage shows, traditional children's games, and various competitions. Interviews are held by experts under the title of Parent and Educator seminars for families. In addition, the children's book Yaman and Bal’s Alanya Adventure-Maiden's Tower is presented free of charge to children. In conclusion, the festival takes place every day between 18:00 and 23:00.
